Learner diary
Week 1
In the first week, I was given a brief of the assignment
which I had to rewrite and the client for the brief I was given is the
marketing team at East Norfolk Sixth Form College.
Week 2
I started to design the website with the primary audience
which is potential students and the secondary audience which is parents, the
demographic in mind is 16-19 and the logo won’t change during the design
process of the website.
Week 3
During the process, I looked at some websites and analysed
them to get an idea of the colour schemes and the layout of the site. I also
looked at some layout designs to get an idea of what the website will look
like. The terms covered are CSS, HTML, fonts and font families, safe fonts and
web fonts and using a graphic instead. The hex code is a specific colour and is
used in media products to tell an audience whether a product is for them.
